Rachael Fernandes
Registered Psychotherapist
Rachael is a Registered Psychotherapist who creates a thoughtful and grounded space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. She works with individuals (18+), including BIPOC and first- and second-generation immigrants, and has experience supporting young adults, creatives, caregivers, students, and professionals.
Her approach integrates Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, with a foundation in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and mindfulness-based practices. Rachael tailors therapy to each person’s unique goals, helping clients reconnect with their strengths, explore the deeper layers of their story, and build lasting self-compassion.
She supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, burnout, perfectionism, identity, and life transitions. She also has experience with ADHD, intergenerational trauma, and multicultural or spiritual concerns.
Outside of the therapy room, Rachael finds joy in solo travel, creative writing, and hands-on arts like pottery. She values reflection, curiosity, and connection, and brings these into her work to support clients on their mental health journey.
